Pros

Pay / Compensation package, great place to be in the wireless industry, great company trajectory, lots of opportunity.

Cons

Welcome to Amazon... I mean, T-Mobile... 60-70hrs a week with your peers throwing you under the bus or dumping their work on you. There is no focus on developing management qualities or capabilities and often the people who are there, are there because they simply just stuck it out. Come to TMO for the experience and pay, but jump off ASAP just like people do at Amazon to a better work/life balance.

Pros

It's the corporate turnaround story of the decade with the Un-carrier positioning, focused on putting customers first, which feels great. You will be inspired by leaders, especially John Legere and Mike Sievert. It's a very marketing-led company, which is great for those of us in marketing. The pay and benefits are great with almost 4 weeks vacation time to start.

Cons

Marketing planning seems to have gone out the window, and it seems we're working to launch whatever idea we came up with last week ASAP, sometimes to the expense of a good customer experience, and things change constantly, which can feel disruptive. The IT systems and teams are also very bloated, slow and not great quality. It can hinder our ability to fully take things to market quickly and with a great experience for customers.

Pros

Plenty of time off Excellent benefits (tuition reimbursement, medical, 401k matching etc…) Flexible hours Great brand recognition On-going training Upward mobility

Cons

Many store managers are promoted who are not ready to lead others Too much tolerance for bad apples Way too many metrics Too many changes to the comp plan where we end up making less money To many errors calculating commission
