Pros

Great career opportunities, especially for strong managers. Come here, we promote from within quite a bit and you can get a senior positions pretty easy if your coming from the outside because you probably have more executive maturity than others here.

Cons

Senior leadership is weak. Not CEO, CFO, COO, etc, but the VP levels.

It's great, if you fit into their "boxes"

Pros

The money is great. It's easy to build relationships with your peers. The benefits are amazing. You accrue lots of time off. The job itself is not too demanding.

Cons

If this isn't the job for you, you will know it. If you're good at confirming, at asked "How High?" before being asked to jump, and at keeping your nose clean, you can go far. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen, and understand that there are plenty of good people who are not cut out for this type of work.

Pros

Health Care Benefits, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement. Employee Phone plan. You do get to meet some really great people that work within the company.

Cons

Politics: you have to make friends with the right people in order to get ahead Fake environment, they say that you can be open and honest but the minute you are you are marked as a target and will probably be fired for something simple Human Resources is always on the side of upper management. they rarely look at the big picture when it comes to frontline concerns and claims of favoritism Upper management will keep you in the dark about important issues that affect employees. This creates an overall distrust between upper management and the frontline Hours have been cut so far back in stores that it is difficult for management to get anything done because we now also have to be sales reps.
