Pros

Good benefits paid time off 401k, discounted employee phone plan and equipment, flexible scheduling

Cons

Very little room for advancement, its very rare to go from sales rep to manager. Company likes to hire managers from outside. New commission structure is awful, I was making half of what I was making with the old format.

Pros

Some of the best reasons to work at T-mobile CAN BE your co-workers and the relationships you develop with them, as well as the interactions with people. Knowing that you facilitating a indispensable service to them can be very rewarding. The interactions with both coworkers and customers, however, can also turn out to be a negative aspect of the job depending on how people treat and respect you. I like that T-Mobile offers a very competitive Health Care package to even part-time employees and this made the job very appealing to me when I started back in 2006. Another positive reason is dealing with the advancement in wireless technology and having access to, firsthand, new devices.

Cons

Commission structure was changed aimed at decreasing employees' pay. With the new commission payout structure, employees now make 1/2 or less in commissions as opposed to the previous way. Employees now have to work extra hard to get 1/2 the pay they were making before.

Pros

Great benefits, lots of vacation time, cheap employee cell phone plan, no worries about layoffs, good mid-level management. Career advancement is also great with T-Mobile. I was promoted three times in 4.5 years and each time was a huge step in my career.

Cons

Senior Management sometimes isn't very clear about their goals. Corporate buzz words have taken over the company culture recently, and it seems like lawyers and accountants run the company now instead of the dedicated team of execs they use to have.
