Pros

Coffee with stale milk for 25 pence.

Cons

Really and truly a demeaning place to work. My self-confidence has been at an all time low since working there. I was screamed at across the call floor for being 5 minutes late even though I explained my problem as to why I was late. I was made to cry. Managers are unkind and belittling. The majority are really uneducated. Female managers don't speak to other female staff-however flirt and play with a lot of males. Calls are constantly recorded and quality assessed and even if you gave great service and resolved all problems, you will still get in trouble for something or other- be it your tone or not following the god awful script. They will always find a fault with you and send you home to get changed (unpaid) if they dont like your shirt. Even though I lived an hour away and had to get expensive public transport home and back. I could keep going but even thinking about it is making me feel nervous. I am so glad to be out of there, prepare to suffer with anxiety if you work there.

Pros

Co workers are amazing, most people are very friendly and diverse.

Cons

MANAGEMENT: are super unprofessional and they can never fix a problem they just refer you to other management back and forth, no one there will help you, you are on your own. There is a lot of favoritisms mostly to butt kissers. SUPERVISOR: Some supervisors are nice, but most of them won't help you to solve customer's issues as they don't know what to do. Some of them just want to be your boss and harass you for everything they can, super bipolar and some have narcissists personalities. Management doesn't allow you to bring any problems to them if you don't go to your useless supervisors first. BENEFITS: I worked there almost a year and I never received my benefits card, I know for a fact that other people were in the same situation, which is pretty strange. I asked every manager they always kept saying it got lost or some lame excuse. I had to social engineer my way with customer service from the insurance company to access my benefits after almost 9 months working there. HR IS USELESS: you have no access to HR whatsoever, they can never help you, always referred you to your supervisor, they are super rude and won't stop to talk to you, they are always on the side of the company. if you call in sick one day for a flue or fever, they ask you to bring a doctor's note the very next day or else they write you up. so you better get a doctor to see you that day you are very sick. PAYMENT: that is the most sad of all $12 an hour for experienced people and $11.25 for new hires. Job requires ridiculous amount of patience and emotional intelligence. loads of work that will leave you drained. SCHEDULE: You work weekends alwayS, and some schedules will make you feel like you have no life, and that you spend most of your time working. HORRIBLE SCHEDULES MOSTLY EVENINGS AND NIGHTS. NO GROWTH WHATSOEVER, DEAD END.
