      Pros

      Excellent product, great visionary leadership by co-founders. Health benefits are over the top and well appreciated; Great perks with fully stocked kitchens; beautiful offices Intelligent and talented people

      Cons

      Confusing structure, direction comes from many with little communication amoungst team. Inexperienced management; Unspoken expectations, watch out! Very very poor communication, very little colaboration. Disrespectful to direct reports. No delegation, therefore no personal growth. Experienced professionals not valued. Some senior management/management live in the data and create a culture far removed from the one Tableau speaks to.

      Pros

      A fantastic company started by smart people with a clear vision that they have successfully turned into a reality. The product is amazing and the customers love Tableau, they are engaged and friendly, customer relationships can feel more like "coffee with a friend" than a corporate meeting. American benefits such as a kitchen full of sweets, chocolates and fizzy drinks (if you like that sort of thing) and plenty of beers in the pub next door to celebrate a big deal closing!

      Cons

      A lot of management in EMEA do not seem qualified for their level of leadership, a common error in such fast paced companies. People have been promoted into roles due to circumstance and tenure not necessarily because they are well suited. Focus is ONLY on the number, No people development, no basic HR support, no excuses when the number isn't there. Senior management live in the data and create a culture far removed from the one Tableau speaks to. Disorganized goals, slow responses, and a splatter gun approach to priorities are a daily occurrence.

      Pros

      Smart & fun people, fun atmosphere, happy customers, flexible work environment. Topped with an awesome product.

      Cons

      Working on a startup mentality. People take pay cuts and demotions to work for Tableau. Not sure how long can this sustain, before the outflow of Talent become greater than inflow.
