Pros

If you know how to catch people stealing, it can be very fun. The day can go by very quick. You can also see some funny stuff while monitoring the cameras or even walking around. Target has one of the most advanced camera systems in retail.

Cons

Sometimes, you'll have a slow month, and you won't catch as many people, which makes the days go by slower. It can boring if you have a slow month.

Pros

Great people to work with.

Cons

Target is no longer focusing on Assets Protection; less and less time is available to do AP tasks, most time is spent helping out other departments - while no one ever offers to help AP.

Pros

Target has extremely competitive pay for the retail sector at the store level for management. An emphasis on personal development and allowing you to create an effective team.

Cons

You do work nights and weekends depending on your role and the needs of the business. Fourth quarter expect to work 12 hour plus days and more than 5 days a week.
