Pros

High entry-level wage, good benefits after a while, excellent environment once the store opens, fast-paced, very physical

Cons

Performance standards increase over time, and your superiors won't make room for you to learn if you are new to the job, if you don't pick it up in the first two weeks, that's your fault, and you will be laid off if your seasonal or fired if you're full time

Pros

You'll learn a lot. I've been with the company 2 1/2 years and started just knowing flow work ( opening boxes and stocking shelves). Six months later I was introduced to Presentation, where you execute sales planners and set up displays. I also learned the backroom operations. Knowing more helps when your position is low in work because you can pick up hours in other areas. So learn as much as you can. The opportunities are there.

Cons

There's always some point in the year where they will begin to cut hours for their full time employees and hire new people. It can be very frustrating. When the hours get ridiculous, I pick up a part time job.
