Pros

Getting enough hours to qualify for healthcare, steady 36-38 hrs

Cons

Pay could be better With new Target initiative, all employees are getting the same pay whether you’ve been there 4 months or 4 years. All merit raises you achieved over the years you basically lost. Also a lot of associates got there days cut from 4 to 2 days, yet their still hiring. Not enough qualified team members scheduled to get the job done. Guests always commenting on how empty the shelves are.

Pros

Upbeat work environment, very fast paced, get to deal with a lot of different people, and they are always looking to promote people.

Cons

Sometimes slow promotion process depending on boss, work crazy schedules at times, and as in all retail jobs, you sometimes have to deal with nasty customers/guests.
