Pros

Pay and benefits for management

Cons

Long hours and politics can be career ending facts. Some people get replaced just for being around too long.

Pros

From my personal experience, it was a fun, clean environment to work in. Flexible work schedule (for team members). Hourly employees ALWAYS get their required breaks and lunches (15 min. paid break for every 4 hrs worked, 30 min. unpaid lunch for every 6 hrs). Tasks were repetitive, but for the most part easy. Good benefits (for retail).

Cons

Low pay for hourly employees. Tiny raises, only given annually. Difficult, but not impossible, to promote without transferring. Hours vary from week to week (some weeks you'll get 30...others you'll get 10).

Pros

While working at Target, I got free food all of the time. The pay wasn't too great, but it was filled with other youngsters like myself and the 10% discount was used all of the time.

Cons

The pay was not very good, there aren't any real benefits for the future and being forced to ask people if they wanted to sign up for a TargetCard sucked.
