Pros

Great People, Lots of benefits, Awesome Cafe on Site, Extensive Online Resources, Interesting Company Events, Beautiful Campus, Monthly Meetings to keep Team Members in the Know.

Cons

The cons are few but enough where I didn't want to be there. Quality metrics where you are penalized for saying the word "can" on a collections call. It is already stressful enough dealing with irate guests about past due accounts and petty things like that only add to the stress. The lack of any significant bonus in a high demand production environment is demoralizing after informing us of the 10s of millions of dollars that the collections team has collected for the company well beyond projections. Or how you guys have an extra billion that you all don't quite know what to do with.

Comfortable Second Job

Pros

Target provides a relatively low stress environment, a consistent schedule and structured (if a bit overly rigid) system to develop Team Members. It has become an excellent place to work as a second job.

Cons

Varying degrees of management capability and engagement are present. As mentioned above, there is a fairly rigid structure governing employees (entirely expected) that is susceptible to favoritism and somewhat immune to rewarding measurable performance improvements.
