Pros

This job does give you the opportunity to learn some managerial skills while learning about cash flow and how to open and close a store down.

Cons

The compensation that you get for being a Guest Service attendant is not worth the stress that the job brings to your life.

Pros

If you do your job well, you can be promoted fairly quickly. At least that was the case in my situation.

Cons

For all that Target expects of you, the pay is not all that great. It gets really stressful, and at times it seems like management doesn't care.

Pros

I enjoyed working at Target. The stores I worked at were all very well ran from a executive level. The one thing that did bother me was when Target Business College (new executives) would start at the store with the idea that they knew more than the team leads that had been there for 10+ years.

Cons

Pay capping was annoying. Once you get to the top of your pay scale as a team lead, you were locked in at small raises no matter if you were the best TL or the worst.
