Pros

The Target location that I worked for was pretty close to where I live. So, it was easy to get there each day.

Cons

Management does not care about your school schedule or your availability. They will always schedule you when you can't come. Also, don't ever expect above 8.50/hr for busting your ass everyday and dealing with rude customers.

Pros

flexible hour, it's a good place to work for if you are a student. When I worked there, the people there were awesome.

Cons

Just like other retail stores, management was not so great. From what I heard, advancing to the next payrate is not easy. Of course, I did not work there long enough to verify that.

Pros

Target Corporation is a great company with a great team-based work ethic. Target has great benefits. Target participates in the community.

Cons

In a small town, such as So. Charleston, WV, employees are hard to find. The management is always changing and they keep some really bad ones because they can't find anyone else. If you aren't a "favorite"of the management, they will run you out of your job. Even without reason. There is no room for advancement- unless you are a favorite of management.
