Pros

Target was a good place to work at overall. Decent shifts (even though it's retail), friendly staff (but each store is different I'm sure) and average pay.

Cons

their "tests" to be promoted have the tendency to weed out good people. Aim to answer like the "average" person would on the promotional tests and you'll do well. Don't answer too high (as I did) because it automatically flags you as lying (although that wasn't the case for me). And as usual there was the typical politics playing a role in promotions, etc

Pros

So easy to do work it was a joke. The people that work there are nice but not smart at all.

Cons

Coming into work everyday and asking myself why I am here. The job is good for high school kids to do.

Pros

Flexible around your school schedule. Easy work means easy money. Optional benefits package is great. Great part-time work for students.

Cons

Retail has its experiences with guests(customers). You have to have the ability to deal with nasty guests. Pay is poor but if you have a college degree you can make a money. If you don't have a college degree then don't expect much.
