Pros
You can dye your hair and have piercings, paint your nails and wear jewelry unless working directly with food ie starbucks/pizza hut. You have the opportunity to cross train into other departments after onboarding, which I would recommend trying to do. You get a small discount. Most locations will let you wear jeans as well as khaki’s for uniform. They have a very strong company culture
Cons
Lots of favoritism, especially among management. Too many hours, disregard for availability. The app used to clock in and do company stuff is complicated and difficult. A lot of acronyms and apps, departments, lots to memorize. Guests will be very rude or inhumane at times. Dubious health and safety. Dubious covid safety. Really anti-union, anti labor or worker rights. Pressure to push credit/upsell at the front end, reach numbers.
