Pros

Coworkers are very friendly. Customers are mostly very nice. Direct deposit is very helpful. The job is not at all difficult.

Cons

Pathetic pay, nearly minimum wage. Leads are numerous and none of them seem to follow the same rules or policies leaving employees constantly confused and open to reprimand (in front of customers). Supervisors refuse to follow company policies. Routinely defy EEOC rules and regulations regarding reasonable accommodations for disabled employees. Human Resources also refuses to comply with this federal law. Pressure employees to sign customers up for red cards putting more focus on red card accomplishments and speed of cashiers than they do quality of work and good customer service.

Pros

The Pay was very good and there is a young ambitious feel to the company. They strive aggressively for growth.

Cons

It is an "up or out" environment and there are very few people over the age of 45 in the organization. While there is a tremendous amount of feedback, it is rarely face to face, but usually by tattling to management. If you thrived through high-school popularity games, you will feel at home at Target HQ.
