I was an executive recruiter supporting Director, VP and up searches for corporate HQ. All day long Target goes on and on about the value of diversity and inclusion. These people are the lease open to diversity and inclusion anyone can be! If word gets out your a conservative and/or have any differing opinion it's an automatic disqualification for promotion and especially leadership. Their definition of diversity is purely based on identity politics. Any difference in option isn't tolerated. After the 2016 presidential election, there were emails from at least 10 Directors and VP saying just despicable things about anyone who didn't vote for Hillary ON THEIR TEAM! Those 'leaders' weren't even disciplined. Promotions regularly happen because of skin color/sex vs merit. What's so shocking is that everyone knows this and it's applauded. If you don't believe me ask literally anyone who works at corporate.

1. There is no creativity in this position. 2. You're given guides and expected to just do what the guide says. (Anyone can do that) 3. They keep changing the schedule and now they've added a mid-shift. VMs working on weekends is pointless because you just become another cashier. I can never get anything done because of all the "guest first" calls as it is. The fact that your VM is register trained but some part-time team members are not, is a problem.
