Pros

Work-Life Balance is amazing, on-call is still a concern, but with the right team, it may not be as stressful as it is in other companies. Growth potential is fairly high, there are many people who move up in their teams if the opportunity arises. Though pay may not be the biggest benefit of doing so. Getting promoted and going for another company will yield the biggest pay bump. Team selection is very diverse and coming in as an L4 Engineer, there may be many options and teams to learn from and grow.

Cons

Pay is lower than the average salary of an engineer. Raises and bonuses are HEAVILY affected by company performance. While there is room for vertical growth, it may not be readily available for all who want to take larger roles.
