Pros

Light workload, and you can make great professional connections

Cons

Really boring, sterilized work as you see building software for most massive corporations. Pay is pretty lame in the grand scheme of tech. You shouldn’t expect to break 6 figures until you’ve been there for at least half a decade. Also typical corporate American time off policy. Basically everyone gets 3 weeks per year while long-tenured employees get 4 or 5. Unnecessarily low given the nature of software engineering and Target’s workload.
