Pros

For a short while working at target made me feel like I was doing good financially when our base pay was raised to $15 an hour. It was perfect for a short while! The greater than usual pay for our area was bringing in high quality workers and kept them and those who had tenure staying around. My coworkers are very friendly and everyone really does work as a good team.

Cons

Im sure you can gather what my big con is going be after reading the pros... The pay isn't what it used to be. Sure it was only a short while ago when it was sufficient, but with the current state of the economy and the target corps PR stunt saying wages will be increasing for a lot of employees ( 'up to' $24 an hour) unrest in our team is beginning to take its toll. Hardly any locations are receiving raises and yearly raises are absolutely insulting especially when compared to the inflation rate and increasing cost of necessities like food and rent.
