      Some good people still work there

      So many- No transparency Outdated processes with multiple approvers and no clear documentation causes people to spend their time figuring out how to work instead of actually working Tosses employees because their systems don't work, no severance Requires multiple hours per week spent on non-billable items, but requires 8 hours/day billable hours. So expect to end up working more than you are paid for.

      Pros

      I joined Tech Mahindra as a fresher, back in 2014. I think it is a good organisation for freshers because it has one of the finest training programs out there. While these training programs are an advantage, it also can be a con because after training you are required to pass tests, failing which you will be sacked. Many of my friends couldn’t clear those test and they were asked to leave. Talking about more pros, they place you in different client locations post your training completion. They also provide you with relocation benefits if you are required to relocate for client location. So, all in all, its a good company to start your career with.

      Cons

      Less or even no hike. No appreciation for your work. You will never get the work of your choice, instead you need to work for everything and anything your manager asks for. Politics is severe, people who visit onsite keep sitting there and people who are at offshore will remain at offshore only. You will end up learning nothing as a fresher. All your efforts will be waste. Irritating managers, who don't work at all and ask subordinates to do their work also. These are some bad reviews that I have had till now. Will update when I remember some more.

      Pros

      I did receive day 1 benefits, and the job has been fully remote.

      Cons

      Promises made during recruitment have not been lived up to. The scope of the position has increased exponentially since I started and any time an increase on wage is suggested to make up for the fact that we are now covering support for 6 departments when we were hired for 1 or 2. There have been repeated technical issues that have not been addressed, or outright ignored. Policies change with little to no warning, and leadership has been spotty at best.
