Pros

Remote, non-customer facing, decent pay, many opportunities for overtime, holiday pay

Cons

A lot of line misuse, inappropriate calls. No real protection from management against threatening calls.

Pros

The best management and team I ever worked with doing work I appreciated with a focus on a vulnerable population.

Cons

Due to their focus being on LGBTQ youth, they are unfortunately at the mercy of trends in both politics and in philanthropy. Several rounds of layoffs happened as fewer people have maintained their conviction to protect queer youth.

Pros

Loved my coworkers who all got laid off and the director care support team who were super loving and supportive as we supported contacts.

Cons

I wanted to move up in organization but they had 2 lay offs in 8 months while I was there. One due to federal funding and one to the organization.
