Pros

You get work with kids and make a difference in their lives.

Cons

Your “bosses” are all friends and if they mess up they will make you take the fall for it so that their friends do not get into trouble. They allow people who they know are intoxicated come to work. They also will suspend you when you complain too much about things that a safety risk. They will not reimburse you for the things you buy. They spend all of the sites money on “other things” with little to no explanation but still expect you to have activities planned for the kids so you are forced to but all the supplies you and your staff need yourself. They will let you know last minute about “meetings/trainings” and get mad if you cannot make it because they let you know 2 hours before it’s supposed to happen. They do not look out for their employees this place is extremely toxic and they pin everyone against eachother.
