Pros

- there are some brilliant people who you can learn a lot from - it has a creative environment which encourages ideas, discussion and feedback - there is a very practical results focus - ThoughtWorks embraces agile and best practice in a open-minded, pragmatic fashion - diversity is encouraged, and the company is eager to give back to the community

Cons

- they're having trouble figuring out how to provide a workable career progression path - the allocation of people to projects can be fickle and unpredictable - the work itself is often not incredibly interesting - pay isn't great compared to an equivalent role somewhere else, but there are some nice benefits

Pros

Working with the smartest people in the business. Working on technically challenging projects, for short durations (as opposed to being stuck in maintenance mode for years). Opportunities to travel the world if that is what you want. Fun and Irreverent attitude.

Cons

If travel is not your thing, then this could be a downside.
