Pros

- Strong, consistent leadership - Great product that customers love - Super smart people - Still operates fairly autonomously, even after acquisition (see below) - Part of Cisco (great place to work, for a number of reasons)

Cons

- Can be difficult to manage time zone differences - Working in an org still maintaining a startup mentality inside a very large company can be challenging - No fitness subsidy or reimbursement (surprising for a company like Cisco that offers so many other benefits) - Pays well, but don't look to get rich off Cisco stock

Pros

clear mission and focus around Internet and network visibility strong team overall, good talent bar product is the best and continues to be ahead leadership encourages filing patents

Cons

engineering teams are getting bigger (acquisitions and growth) lack of an in office culture anymore (most companies don't) overhead of Cisco (multiple meetings - leader check in, company wide check in, in addition to all hands)

Pros

I had a good experience overall. My teammates were great, I learned a lot from them, and they always stood by me and encouraged me.

Cons

Managers are not good at all - I deducted 2 stars because I felt my managers had a hands-off approach. They didn't offer timely feedback, resulting in misunderstandings and frustration, and I believe it hindered chances for improvement. Additionally, there was no intern experience within their team, and they expected the intern to grasp a complex application quickly. The feedback provided during the exit interview wasn't constructive, leaving me feeling disheartened. I consistently sought ways to improve every week but received no opinions or feedback during that time and it was all thrown at the end.
