Pros

I worked for 6.5 years in the Application engineering domain for Off-Highway. I like the culture, the company values individuals and their contributions. Takes pride in their products and their employees. Customer orientation. Though shareholder value is important, i never felt that the company is in business only to make money, which is a great attribute for the Management.

Cons

Company believes in people, and growing globally, i don't see any cons as such working with this organization. May be career growth of individuals should be given a fillip.

Pros

Well ran. Advanced processes for people, products and equipment. Business leaders always looking at new markets and technologies. Great employee relations, recognition and communication programs.

Cons

None. During my 5 yrs at Timken I have almost nothing bad to say about the experience. Great culture, nice facilities, treated employees very well. Felt like a family.

Consistent reductions in the workforce with expectation of higher output. Unwilling to implement changes due to lack of reward to risk takers.
