Hi.. Thank you for responding and glad to hear your experiences at Trulia were very positive. We are continually trying our best. And, thanks for the space advice. With our brand new building in SF, we have more space to stretch out now and certainly top-notch facilities. Thanks again. Best regards. Greg Bland, VP, Trulia Sales

Pros

Decent paychecks and great benefits.

Cons

They will lie to you and do anything to get more sales out of you. Even though they have fun things to do if you are not a top seller it is frowned upon to have fun.

Thank you for responding. Sorry to hear you're experience was not as positive as it is for most of our employees who have voted us a Top Place to work in Denver for the last 3 years. We may not get it right 100% of the time, but we pride ourselves on having a "people first" & strong team environment here. So, if you have some specifics you can share, I'd love to hear them so we can keep improving. I can be reached at gbland@trulia.com or 303.801.8126 -- whichever is most convenient for you. And, I wish you the best in your future endeavors. Greg Bland, VP Sales @ Denver

Pros

At Trulia, Good Benefits, Perks, lots of Giveaways, lunches. Decent Commisison potential is there IF you make a lot of dials and are decent speaking with Realtors. People have fun and it's not a super serious salesfloor. Good work/ life balance.

Cons

When Zillow took over in February they let everyone at Trulia go, so there is no more Trulia Sales anymore.. It's all Zillow now so go apply at Zillow ( have heard it's very micromanaged and most inside sales people are very stressed working there due to it being ALL about the numbers, if your good they like you and if your medium it's a horrible pressure cooker place to work have heard). Realtors have to sign a 6 month contract. Many of the leads dont work for them so they rarely will sign up again.

Thank you for your response. Glad to hear you had some very positive experiences while working at Trulia. And, In case it's helpful, here are some additional details around your questions. Yes, unfortunately with business (e.g. mergers & acquisitions, etc), sometimes some very difficult decisions have to be made. And, while some folks from Trulia were affected by this change, it was not all of Trulia. And, those who were affected received a very generous severance package. And, I'm happy to report that a number of sales reps from Trulia in Seattle are now working at Zillow's office and in personally speaking with a few of them recently, they are really enjoying it and are some of their top new sellers! :) Equally as important, this office continues to have low turnover and win Top Employer Awards, as voted on by the employees. Lastly, actually, most of our clients are customers are very successful with our products. So much so, that over 60% of our sales come from repeat buyers. Sorry for the length but hope this helps clear a few things up. However, if you have additional questions or feedback, I'd love to hear it. You can reach me at gbland@trulia.com or 303.801.8126. Best regards for your future success. Greg Bland, VP Sales @ Trulia
