      Great experiences and one of a kind project exposure.

      Cons

      Company is big and spread out. Going up the corporate ladder is challenging due to timing and old school management due to the nature of construction.

      Pros

      Superiors and co-workers have an open-door policy to help you in your learning and in any questions you may have on your expectations. All members of the company feel like a family, as they will always provide help so you won't fail. Excellent company events and lunches where company members can "let loose", and you would feel spoiled at times. All employees I've worked with were down to earth and interested in getting to know you on a personal level. Compensation was fair, and I consider the work experience to be amazing and practical in developing soft skills that are an asset for any career.

      Cons

      The biggest challenge is maintaining a work-life balance. There is stress created externally sometimes by clients or subcontractors, but I have never felt stress from internally in the company such as from a superior or coworker. As it is a large company, you sometimes need to contact multiple people to complete a company form or task.

      Pros

      Understanding general contracting and relationship-building with subcontractors. Allows for opportunities above and beyond responsibilities. Lots of opportunities for internal training

      Cons

      Horizontal structure and not a lot of room for career growth; leadership is not always transparent in where they want to improve as a business
