Solid Company with a Solid History
Pros
Turner is a great organization with a long history of success in the industry. The company (for the most part) hires quality individuals who are good to work with and know how to have fun on the job. In my career at Turner, I have to say I thoroughly enjoy working with my fellow employees the most out of everything. The sense of fellowship is very strong on all the projects I've worked on and the project staff supports one another like family.
Cons
Working here can be demanding. This may not necessarily be a con since many construction projects require long hours, but there are some days when it takes a toll on you. Also as a younger staff member, it's very difficult to advance yourself quickly through the company even if you are qualified. There is a lot of risk aversion to letting young staff in their 20's have a lot of responsibility for projects.
