Mass exodus a few years back resulted in several promotions in management to some under qualified and incompetent people, seemingly out of desperation. If you are not part of the “in” crowd, you may have a tough time getting anywhere. Totally ridiculous evaluation process easily and unfairly manipulated by stealth reviewers and constantly changing goals. Senior PM’s and Exec’s with the ability to avoid real issues and roll their responsibilities into your lap without any support. They have no problem taking credit for your hard work when things go well and just as easily pointing fingers if things start to go south. Rarely will you get any recognition for your efforts and success. Don’t get me wrong, there are some very smart and talented folks, but most have left the company leaving the weasels behind to run the show.
Work Life Balance is nothing more than propaganda.
Percentage of experienced people has dwindled over the past several years leaving some of the lower paid, less experienced in way over their heads. Commonly referred to by some subcontractors and clients as "Turner Tots". Kind of scary.
