      Pros

      Good to work for as an analyst, but less good to work for as an associate director. Job opps are limited across cycles, but do offer international opps to grow from as you progress. GE system in unevenly applied. with respect to internationals and US employees. Forced at times. Another thing to say is the people are nice, but the remnants of the fine Dillon Read Warburg culture varies.

      Cons

      Bad to get 0 bonus in down market and this should never happen, but has in the past. The 100+ hour work weeks should be rewarded, but proprietary risk trading with OPM should not. Not sure why the inconsistency of approaches.

      Friendly environment. Not too bad hours, deadlines are pretty lenient and achievable without killing yourself.

      Cons

      turn over was huge. not a lot of job security. because people were being restructured there was tangible animosity to new temps

      Pros

      Swiss brand name with long history in the industry. Still maintain good reputation. Many talented and nice people with passion.

      Cons

      No salary increase and Bonus decreased. High turnover. Frequent restructure. Confused. Job cuts constantly. Poor morale. Many people looking around. Firm wasting a lot of money in wrong directions.
