      Good place to get a start.

      Pros

      Office will support you getting licenses and certifications. Good place to to learn and get some experience. A lot of the long timers are very nice and helpful in sharing knowledge. Good amount of vacation time for new employees.

      Cons

      Poor compensation. Limited amount of positions available within the wealth management division. Some of the past managers didn't make it easy for individuals to apply for other jobs and move around within the company. Sometimes it takes forever to get something done because it has to go through so many strings of approval.

      Pros

      Full of interesting and challenging projects, and technology was surprisingly quite up to date for such a large bank. Very professional staff and atmosphere, even during the phase when I worked there which coincided with a very difficult economic climate, and the fallout from their US crisis. Opportunities to move laterally into banking if one wishes. Zurich is a fantastic city in which to live and work.

      Cons

      not a lot. I brought a young family, and I suppose integrating within Swiss community was the main difficulty.
