Pros

PTO, Off bank holidays, Hybrid Schdule

Cons

No way to move up in the company unless someone leaves or gets promoted themselves, they make it impossible. They DO NOT pay you what you're worth and give you loads of extra work on top of that. People in the same department were making different salaries and when you "top out" of your department's salary range, they won't give you a raise unless you are promoted or move to another part of the bank. They PREACH culture but do not show it in their management teams at all, typical boys club and they give all their extra money to the top executives instead of the hard working employees that deserve it.

Pros

Great place to work if you are a white male at Managing Director level or above.

Cons

Upper management completely out of touch with day to day operations. DEI is falsely promoted as a core value. Morale is lowest I’ve seen since 2008 crash.

Pros

Flexible working hours Remote working (only after covid) Nice offices

Cons

- bad management and politics in a toxic environment: everyone from employees to managers keep complaining about everything, trying to find the fault in others instead of improving; proactivity is not welcome here - obsolete technology (15+ years): even if there is motivation to migrate to a newer technology, they succeed only by crippling it and using it as incorrectly as possible, e.g: Agile rollout taking months or even an year, you keep working more on old workarounds than on new solutions. - remote work is degrading due to the continuous disservices with the providers used - don't trust anyone: the new recruits have been hunted as if in a poisoned game - work/human ethic no longer exists: hide as much as possible and work as little as possible
