      Bloated and Turning Into Their Competition

      Pros

      - Compensation (To keep you from leaving) - Your peers are most likely wonderful

      Cons

      - Management is completely unattached from what happens day to day - Upper-management don't take into consideration how their decisions effect the people on the ground - No structured training. "Trial by fire" - Expect you to work overtime, but won't pay you for it - Incredibly hypocritical policies. "One UL" means we're on the same team, but the silo mentality is incredibly strong. - Egos abound

      Pros

      Good work-life balance. Interesting environment to learn about payments and smart cards. Easygoing environment.

      Cons

      Too much instability and lack of investments in innovating the equipment. If this does not change, the competitors will soon cut this company out of the market. You can get redundant very easily in this period. Salaries are too low and for this reason most of the people leave in a short period. Security pays very well and if you offer low salaries you lose talents and keep hiring fresh graduates with no experience. Result is a drop of quality and know how and very low productivity. Good to get into Security but leave as soon as possible as the ramp up finishes very soon.
