Pros

International environment, experienced staff, and great atmosphere. Opportunities for learning (in-house language training, other professional development opportunities), traveling, networking.

Cons

High level of bureaucracy which significantly slows down many activities. UNHCR is an international humanitarian agency funded by donors thus there is always some uncertainty in terms of future career plans because mostly short-term contracts are awarded.
