Pros

It has an incredible mandate, helping children around the world through development and humanitarian projects. The work environment is usually friendly and the organisation treats is staff very well compared to other UN agencies.

Cons

It's very bureaucratic and you will not have to use your brain a lot. Change and innovation, despite being promoted, are misunderstood and hardly adopted. Instead of performance, nepotism and favouritism are key to get promotions. You will also see a lot of money wasted and children actually get a small part of the budget.
