Pros

UN-Salaries Limited to low level of tension and stress

Cons

Non-Transparent management, mostly worried about then potential promotion or waiting for retirements. Obstacles for flexible time table, needed for attending applicable training to the job, or childcare... even just for the change of one hour per day. Terrible vision on productivity and career progress.

Pros

Very young crowd, lots of opportunities for internships (paid!) and jr. consultancies, very agile (compared to the other UN agencies/funds/entities) and able to adapt to quick changes. Great for field experience as well.

Cons

Inability to retain knowledge and talent, fast turnaround, always in ongoing restructuring.
