Pros

Job Security is excellent for enlisted until you re-enlist "at the needs of the Army" in which case you may find yourself out of a job at 16 years- with reserves or national guard maybe an option to at least keep retirement benefits relevant.

Cons

Officers and senior enlisted will not hesitate to throw anyone under the bus in order to look good in front of their peers or bosses. And they will never admit to your face that they have done so in order to avoid actual confrontation. Oh the irony.

Pros

Guaranteed benefits, salary, time off. If you want to see the world the United States Army will show you the world.

Cons

You are a number. There is little individuality and at times it can be a caste structure in the way business is handled. If you are low rank you are considered to know little and only to do as told.

Pros

I enjoy the comradery and structure within the workplace. My supervisors are very competent and they work very hard.

Cons

I reminisce about the "good old days" and of course, get nostalgic. We have grown tremendously and can't expect the people and the business as a whole to be functioning the same as it was when we have nearly doubled in size year over year.
