Pros

There are a lot of benefits to the Army. You get to travel the world, work with incredibly talented people, and work on unique mission sets that you will not find anywhere else on the planet.

Cons

You have to give up a lot of personal freedoms and time. You lose the ability to choose where you live, need to be prepared to deploy at a moments notice, and are essentially on call 24/7, even when not deployed.
