United States Army - Different kind of life experience

Pros

The army will not only make you disciplined, but it also teaches you patience, financial management, health management. Also, when you're enlisted, you get tons of benefits, including school, counseling, and you also meet a lot of professionals: doctors, nurses, etc.

Cons

Aside from taking time away from your "everyday" life, there aren't really much Cons that I can think of personally. I mean there's always the RISK of injury or death... but then again... what doesn't? It's about serving the people, the country after all isnt it?
