Pros

- Potential for very high impact projects (very unit dependent). - Good training/experience, especially for new college grads. - opportunity for promotion/incentive pays for specific skills.

Cons

- You’re locked into a contract with the US Army for potentially a long time. - The training pipeline is long and there’s no guarantee you’ll get the job you want. - Long-term not as financially viable as private sector.
