      Pros

      The company owners are 100% committed to Uline's long term success. They are not making decisions based on short term challenges / opportunities. Didn't have any layoffs in March - April 2020, unlike many other companies. Uline is reinvesting a great deal of the profit back into its business. Business is growing and that creates multiple opportunities for professional development. Pay is good and we have annual salary increases. Unbelievable year-end bonuses for all employees. The owners expect employees to work hard every day. The pace is very fast and demanding. However, the Uihlein family truly does care about their employees.

      Overworked 730am to 5pm. Visiting too many different customers Only see each customer once a year for 40 minutes, no connection to customers business. Must commute to Milton, ON every Monday, no opportunity to wfh or hybrid. Smaller organizational structure reduces the opportunities to be promoted within My way or the highway leadership mentality Sales program is dated, growth of the company relies on the service model Reps compete against each other for sales, no performance bonus awarded Military type work ethic
