Pros

If you're self-motivated and driven this is a great place to work. Has a very unique company culture in a positive way.

Cons

Every decision in the company goes through the President, Liz Uihein. If you're the type of person that has an issue with that, this isn't the place for you. However, there is a lot people can learn from Liz. In comment to the dress code/employee standards: Liz does not expect anything from her employees she would not expect of herself.

Pros

Uline as a company has experienced sales growth year after year after year. It is a work environment that people who are motivated can excel in. There is little down time, but this allows for fast paced environment that causes the day to pass by quickly. It is a company of constant feedback. I always know exactly where I am at, how I am doing, where I am going, and what I can do to improve or maintain. Is there a dress code? Yes. Have I ever had a job where there isn't a dress code? No. Am I willing to sacrifice a great career with possibilities for growth, personal development, and place to take care of my family over a dress code? No. There is great compensation, including bonuses, and they are constantly looking to reinvest in their employees, even in the little things. There is always something going on that involves food, but they back it up by having a great gym that employees can use for free. The people I work with are all driven towards success, and wonderful people to work with. They make it worth headed to work everyday, even on those days when I don't want to go, just because it is work. The facilities are gorgeous and well taken care of. I never feel like I am in a dirty place, and always take pride in how clean everything inside and outside the building is. The vacation time is extraordinary. I have friend's parents who have worked for companies for 20+ years that say I had more vacation time starting off than they currently do.

Cons

Sometimes it is really cold in the office, even when it is really hot outside. It is necessary to wear a jacket indoors at times. The cubicle guidelines can be a little strict, in comparison to other companies. BUT I have a picture of my family, and other trinkets that I have out. Ultimately the same question applies to my dress code statement. Am I willing to sacrifice a great career over this? No.
