One of the things we truly appreciate is when our employees double down and work together until they get the job done. It’s that kind of hard work and dedication that has taken this small family business and grown it into a leading North American company. Our standards for customer service excellence are high, and we know that working in the warehouse can be challenging — and we continue to be humbled by our workers’ commitment to serving our customers. Thank you for your feedback.

The pay is not worth it

Pros

End of the year profit sharing bonus (this is literally it)

Cons

-Intense, pedantic micromanagement that leaves you unmotivated and constantly anxious -Useless HR and management system which exists to protect other managers and the ULINE bureaucracy instead of employees -Arbitrary and random rule changes that exist only to create an illusion of progress which adds more employee paranoia (seriously, half the management in this company is precisely this) -Diligent and hard working employees get taken advantage of, while bad employees will get switched around (sometimes to a better position at the expense of a good worker) unpunished -Injects politics into everything from lunch-ins to company policy -Claims to be conservative but cares nothing about work-life balance or even offers paternal leave so both parents can be present in their child’s life -Overstated benefits. The pay is slightly above average hourly for whatever position you’re in, but the high pay is from insane required overtime. The end of the year bonus is the only tangible upgrade compared to any other job, but the sacrifices you’ll have to make physically and mentally are not worth it. -They expect the world despite giving you limited resources -Employees targeted by random shadowing days or job changes -The opportunity for growth is another overstated benefit. There a few times the company doesn’t hire someone outside with little to no experience for management positions.

Thank you for your review. We’re disappointed to hear that you don’t feel you are experiencing a healthy work/life balance. While hard work and hustle are valued and rewarded, we take pride in providing professional development opportunities and progressive career tracks to help our teams succeed together. If you need a break from work, we encourage employees to talk with their manager about scheduling PTO. The political leanings of Uline founders as private citizens does not represent the more than 9,000 employees who come to work from diverse backgrounds and experiences. We continue to work hard to foster an inclusive work environment for all of our employees.
