Pros

- Pay - People - Work is not bad - Direct Managers

Cons

- Absolutely NO NO NO flexibility - Hiring developers based on “personality” rather than skill and personality - Upper Management - Would rather risk a 10 vehicle accident than give the company WFH for a snowstorm. - Cubicles - Business Professional - Not enough lunch tables - Can’t have more than 3 things on desk - Chairs suck - Clock in and out for salary employees

We do our best to support all our employees, so we’re disappointed you had a negative experience working at Uline. As a North American company, we certainly have high standards — but we believe with hard work and commitment, we can continue to achieve success. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Pros

Great pay good benefits but comes with a price

Cons

Just a little worried that, there’s only Caucasian people working with me. They won’t hire any minorities

Pros

Good pay and that's it

Cons

First week in and the trainer makes you feel like you're a loser or stupid while you're feeling stressed in the new role. Was having trouble grasping some of the basics because the manager was always watching me just waiting for me to mess up so they could spring into action tell me how I could've made an error. Sometimes that's the only way we truly learn and improve is by making mistakes. When you don't let your employees breathe or don't provide positive feedback, it really feels deflating to the them. I understand that Uline wants service excellence for the customer but they need to take care of their employees as well. Not all of us understand the material the first week and take a little longer to process things. This environment just isn't for me.
