Pros
There are some genuinely good leaders/managers at the PA branch. There are also some who can’t walk and chew gum at the same time and when they tell you to do something you want to pull your hair out. Pay is competitive for the industry and the bonuses are generous. The main benefit of uline is the reputation it has in the industry. It is ridiculously strong. I worked for 2 years at uline in a production role with a business management degree and when I decided I was done I was offered jobs as a manager at 3 new companies within a month of going through the interview/hiring process. If you graduate without much experience this is a path you can take.
Cons
The micromanagement is truly baffling. Consistently talking about production and accuracy but wasting your time “coaching” you on stuff so that they have something to write down on a paper to make it look like they are doing something. Hard work does not get rewarded, great associates get ignored while the poor ones get badgered, but if you have one bad day you’ll certainly still hear about it. The PTO is awful. Worked there for 2 years and still consistent got denied requests for time off.
