Pros

Good benefits package is provided.

Cons

Awful workplace ethics. Definitely not a people first company. Managers only seem to be out for themselves, and certainly do not provide the adequate support for new starters. No training was provided aside from a few phone calls with no clear structure or any kind of supportive follow up. Systems are extremely slow for a multinational company. Pay is definitely not competitive enough.

Pros

A fantastic portfolio of familiar brands.

Cons

I'm going to be honest. The way that Unilever treated me and my colleagues in Connecticut from 2020 - 2021 was nothing short of shameful. During the greatest public health crisis of our time, Unilever decided to move forward with a mass layoffs of dedicated employees (some of whom had given decades of their lives). We were scared, confused, and casually outsourced. All the while, (then) Leadership kept moving the goal-posts and end dates. Some of us are STILL recovering financially and professionally to this day.
