Like any big company it’s a mixed bag but mostly good
Pros
Recognized name brand, Ethical culture. Good people. Can be based from a home office and travel to customers. Decent health and other benefits. 401K Match @ 6% plus an annual kicker of a few %., but it takes 3 yrs to fully vest. Great tuition assistance. 1/2 priced wireless and Fios service which really adds up. Opportunities for learning via online self learning, virtual classes and some classroom courses.
Cons
Hard company to assimilate into. Many broken processes due to stove pipe systems. Not agile. Hard to turn around non standard pricing. Pricing not always competitive. Commissions are capped. Leveraged on revenue vs bookings. Bookings targets frequently not realistic. Latest news is we’re moving to a quarterly quota which to me means managing your commissions. Fairly frequent RIFS. Takes awhile to move up a band.
