      Good pay for work performed but a lot of stress

      Pros

      Great benefits package and a good retirement plan, good pay for the work performed, also job has added protection from a strong union.

      Cons

      less vacation time in comparison, tough to get time off when needed, poor management leadership overall. Lower level managers are treated poorly and it shows in the way they treat their workforce.

      Pros

      benefits are good..tuition reinbursement..insurance is good but did change, now it is not as good. Compared to other wireless carriers salary is decent as well. low employee morale

      Cons

      Comissions structures have changed, now one must work twice as hard to make half the money. Also, have too many customer return their phones within 30 days one can lose up to 20 percent of their commissions which is just wrong and should be unlawful.

      Pros

      The compensation package is probably the best in the industry. Benefits are great. The company is well run and it makes tasks and goals easier to accomplish.

      Cons

      Verizon Wireless is extremely sales driven. The pressure is high to meet and exceed sales goals consistently, but it's not a problem unless you're lazy or lack the skills. If you do struggle here and there, expect to hear about it. Not much praise for accomplishments, but that's where the high pay is reflected.
