      Pros

      money is good, but the ability to move up is limited. benefits are good, close to home. a good job for upstate ny, but it IS a call center

      Cons

      the union and management do not seem to have a very good working relationship. it is hard to not have any flexibility esp. when you have small children.

      Pros

      For one, the pay. Verizon has an excellent commission structure that rewards those who truly sell. For another, you always get to see something different. Working in retail, you get to see people from all different walks of life. Sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes its bad. But everyday is never the same as the last.

      Cons

      Angry customers. This is universal at all levels of retail. Inevitably you're going to have to deal with people that think you work for the seediest company in the world, and they'll do everything in their power to make your life a living hell. That's just the nature of the job. Once again, patience is a must.

      Pay is good Benefits are even better For the most part, Senior Management recognizes that the front line is the bread and butter

      Cons

      Work/Life Balance The only thing that is consistent is change Senior Management will make unannounced visits only to tell you what you are doing wrong
