They have a good benefits package but that's about it

Cons

Management wants quick wins only. I hear about this a lot in modern business but Verizon's management loses patience so quickly with projects that it's an absolute nightmare to work there. It genuinely feels like they're trying to sabotage the company sometimes. Upper management is so out of touch with its employees and its customer base and no amount of hard work from employees goes unpunished. Performance isn't rewarded. There are few ways to get ahead here and most people (understandably) just try to stay afloat by yessing management to death so as to not rock the boat and then complaining about management amongst each other behind closed doors.
